Installation of photovoltaic panels at our facilities

We are pleased to announce that we have completed the installation of solar panels at Manolet Almonds.

We have been selected to receive a subsidy under the Project included in the incentive program for self-consumption and energy storage, along with the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector. This funding program is an integral part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, an initiative supported and funded by the European Union through its NextGenerationEU fund.

This subsidy provides us with a great opportunity to advance in the adoption of renewable energy sources and the implementation of sustainable thermal systems in the residential sector. It has not only allowed us to actively contribute to the fight against climate change but also strengthens our capacity to generate energy more efficiently and sustainably, reducing our environmental footprint and improving the resilience of our communities. We are grateful for the trust and support provided by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

With the installation of this photovoltaic plant, we aim to produce a significant part of our energy consumption through renewable sources by our own means; contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and achieving greater sustainability in our energy model.
