Regenerative agriculture in the almond sector
In recent years, a model has emerged that goes beyond sustainability in the almond sector: regenerative agriculture.

You are sustainable too because together we are stronger. In this new phase of Manolet Almonds, we want all of you to be an active part of our progress, our policies, a new way of doing business, and contributing to a more sustainable world.
It’s not just about consuming energy efficiently by incorporating the latest technologies, but also about being able to contribute to the environment by sustainably generating a significant portion of that energy consumed.
In the Levante and southern Spain, we have an inexhaustible source of energy from the sun, and to harness all this energy, we have installed photovoltaic panels and 17 inverters that significantly reduce our dependence on less sustainable energy sources, making us active participants in building a more environmentally friendly world.
While the photovoltaic panels generate around 1 MWh of energy, the inverters are responsible for converting direct current into alternating current so that it can be utilized and consumed.
We continue working to reduce our carbon footprint through responsible and sustainable actions and decisions.
In recent months, we have told you that we believe in a more united and committed business and societal model. Therefore, we think our energy policies should be supported by our partners, suppliers, and distributors. Likewise, we also want to establish synergies and collaborations with farmers who implement efficient cultivation and harvesting systems.
In Manolet, energy efficiency and sustainability are one of the pillars of our CSR. Still don’t know what it’s all about? Take a look at our blog and social media to learn firsthand about the policies we are implementing to make this a better world.
