Manolet, S.A. strengthens its presence in Portugal with the purchase of 12 land lots in Alentejo

Purchase of 12 plots of land in Alentejo through Migdalo, S.A.

At Manolet Almonds, S.A. we continue with our roadmap towards 2030 and strengthening our presence in Portugal.


Since we began the construction of our Almond Processing and Shelling Plant in the Elche Business Park in 2019, we have kept making progress in its expansion. In 2022 we built a new sheller within the same plant, while between 2023 and 2024 we expanded the facilities by doubling our shelling capacity.

We have now acquired through Migdalo twelve land lots in the Ferreira do Alentejo Industrial Estate (Portugal), which make up a block of 17,000 m². There we plan to install our second shelling plant, which we hope to have operational by mid-2026, contributing in this way to job creation and wealth generation in the Alentejo region.
