Circular Economy: Our Waste, an Opportunity

The famous architect Richard Rogers once said, “The only way forward, if we are to improve the quality of the environment, is to get everybody involved,” and we echo his words by adding, “with all the available resources at our disposal”… we turn our waste into an opportunity.

The commitment to a circular production and economic model leads us as a society to better utilize and make the most of our resources.

We turn our waste into an opportunity

The circular economy is a more respectful and sustainable production and consumption model that allows us to make the most of all resources available for sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly use.

Its main characteristic is the reduction of waste to a minimum through synergies between sectors and business alliances, where one company’s waste can become the driving force for another.

This way, we ensure that almond skins are used as feed in the livestock sector, while almond shells are utilized as an ecological fuel, reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

Efficient and Sustainable Fuels: Biomass

Among these efficient and sustainable fuels, we find all those composed of biological and organic material: biomass.

We understand biomass as an energy source of various origins with a neutral CO2 contribution. This type of fuel is highly cost-effective and competitive for use in industry. Almond shells are an ideal raw material to convert into biomass and fuel boilers for various purposes.

Biomass Boilers

Biomass boilers are an efficient, sustainable, and ecological alternative to electric and combustion boilers. With this type of boiler, we can heat any type of installation: domestic hot water (DHW), heating, underfloor heating… and steam machines for industrial purposes.
